All fertilizers are not created equal. In fact, they can vary
dramatically in their granular quality and their chemical composition.
Ultimately, these differences effect the uniformity of nutrient
applications as well as the ability for plants to utilize nutrients
effectively. Only high quality fertilizer ingredients produce
high quality results.
At Okanagan Fertilizer we offer only the finest quality granular
fertilizers products available. We never use "off-spec" fertilizer
materials that segregate in blending and spreading. Furthermore,
our fertilizer blends never contain inert matter or filler. As
a result, all of our fertilizer products are high analysis, uniformly
sized and dust free, guaranteeing you the best possible results.

Nitrogen, Phosphorous, Potassium and Sulfur
Okanagan Fertilizer has been an independent dealer of Agrium
fertilizers since our inception in 1976. To this day, Agrium remains
Okanagan Fertilizer's principle supplier of Nitrogen, Phosphorous,
Potassium and Sulfur fertilizers.
K-Mag® Premium
Magnesium is one of the most misunderstood and underutilized
plant food nutrients. Generally, granular magnesium fertilizer
is in the form of K-Mag (sulfate of potash magnesia) or various
oxides of Magnesium.
Derived from naturally occurring mineral deposits, K-Mag Premium
contains Magnesium, Potassium and Sulfur in the preferred sulfate
form. K-Mag Premium is 100% water soluble, dissolving rapidly
in the soil solution in the soil solution for optimum nutrient
availability. K-Mag Premium has a very low salt index (burn potential)
and has no effect on soil pH. For the best results, insist on
K-Mag Premium.
Ultra-Yield® Micronutrients
Micronutrients are required in relatively small amounts by plants
(hence their name) but are no less important in achieving optimum
growth and yields. In fact, a deficiency of one micronutrient
can limit plant growth even when all other plant nutrients are
present in adequate amounts.
Solubility in the soil of fertilizer micronutrients is the key
to optimum nutrient availability. At Okanagan Fertilizer, we use
only high quality sulfate forms of Ultra-Yield micronutrients
(Zinc, Manganese, Iron and Copper). Sulfate fertilizers are highly
water soluble, resulting in optimum plant availability and uptake.
In addition to Ultra-Yield products, we also use Borate boron,
the most soluble and plant available form of granular boron available.
Duration CR®
Polymer Coated Urea
Duration CR is the latest advancement in polymer coated urea
technology from Agrium Inc. Duration CR is engineered to release
nitrogen through temperature governed osmosis, at a rate similar
to plant nitrogen requirements. Duration CR's ability to control
the release of nitrogen eliminates concerns over volatilization,
denitrification and leaching.
The results from using Duration CR can be dramatic. Research
indicates that Duration CR improves both yield and quality of
vegetable and fruit crops.
